Nylon Billets- what kind of cinch?

So, I'm sure that this has been posted before but this is just what I've heard and want to know if it's true. I've heard that you shouldn't use a cinch like a Classic Sensorflex Fleece with Nylon billets because there is no "stretch" in wither one to accommodate the horse. Those type of cinches should be used with leather billets while natural fiber strand cinches
(mohair, alpaca, etc.
) should be used with nylon billets. Is this true? Opinions?

I have no idea but I use nylon billets and put various cinches with them but mostly the neoprene Professional Choice or the wool Professional Choice. I've never heard anything about not using certain cinches with nylon billets.

I like nylon latigos with a natural material cinch
(with some stretch
) and leather latigos with a synthetic
(little stretch
) cinch.
I use nylon with my mohair cinch because nylon isn't going to dry rot like leather, but it can be worn and the holes can break so I look it over before every ride.
I only use leather tack, saddle/bridle/back cinch/breastplate because if my horse got caught up I want it to break before he breaks a leg.
Just my precaution.

The saddle maker, Larry Allen told me years ago about the nylon - natural combination. He said it's for the exact reason you stated...give. He also said in his opinion, riders these days tend to tighten and loosen their girths less often so if it's a man made on man made combo, the horse is constantly constricted with very little relief. He squeezed his hands
( and he is a BIG man
) around my arm as an example. It totally made sense to me. On one of our horses we still use a nylon billet and a neoprene girth but we are very diligent about loosening often. I still think of my arm...
