Bridge Pads - Another Saddle Fit Post
Has anyone used any of the Bridge pads? there are so many out ther and i'm not sure if that is what i need or not. I have a high withered horses with muscle atrophy behind the withers resulting in a pocket and thin topline. I've tried the bio fit pad... then i tried the biofit pad and shimming just behind wehre the biofit pad ends because that is what i had... and still have this...
The red is the dry spot.
Sorry my horses are still incredibly hairy!

Google the csi saddle fit demo, the demonstrator placed a shim right where you would want it

Thankyou! But any idea how else to place shims and hold them in place if you dont have a CSI pad?

I would get some hospital grade felt cut it to the shape you need it, then duct tape it to either the saddle or the pad, depending if you use the saddle on other horses then I suggest the pad.
