I used to make fun of my friend for getting these! now I want one they are so handy especially since you can setup to feed throughout the day. since it is so much better feeding several times a day. what are the best ones and cheapest ones out there?

We use Ifeeders and love them.. You can set them up to feed as often as you like. It only feeds a few ounces at a time throughout a 24 hour period. We just mix our supplements right in and fill the feeder about every 3 days. We feed a lot less and our horses look great.. I had a mare that would spill her grain and paw her buckets and it all ended up on the ground. With these feeders she only got a little bit at a time and ate it all. She really gained some weight.. Search Ifeed Technology on Facebook or let me know if you have any other questions..

I have the automatic feeders in my barn. My DH gave them to me as a Christmas present a few years ago and I must admit they are the best! I have three double feeders, each one between two stalls. I have them set on timers to feed at specific times, specific amounts. I will tell you tho, that the feed must be a dry mix. I was feeding a sweet mix but changed to a dry pellet with cracked corn. Works better without gumming up the works. They work great. I will tell you also that my horses got out one time but were back in time for 8am feed. If you have q chance to get these I wouldn't hesitate .
