Any suggestions on making the nylon on the softride boots softer? They are an older pair and the nylon is getting pretty stiff. I was thinking about putting them in the washer with just fabric softner and water? Any other suggestions? Thanks

I wouldn't put them in a washer .... Soak 'em in a bucket with woolite. Hang dry then use a stiff bristle body brush to "soften" up the nylon on 'em.
Good Luck!

I had some on a mare that was foundered and abscessed. Talk about stink. I stuck them in the washer on a low spin cycle and mild detergent and they came out looking new.
