| What a great request GOD BLESS AMERICA. God certainly has blessed America.
Psalm 66:8-9Oh, bless our God, you peoples! And make the voice of His praise be heard, who keeps our soul among the living, and does not allow our feet to be moved.
In this psalm David entreats us to bless God! Yes, it is time to put the shoe on the other foot, about time we paused from always asking and start being a blessing to the only One worthy of being blessed.
Haven't we all made promises to God in times of distress and haven't we forgotten to fulfill those vows once trouble was past? While we may not be able to repay our vows with burnt offerings, and thank God He doesn't want them, we have a far better payment in the sacrifice of our own lives. We are to present our bodies as a living sacrifice , according to the apostle Paul Romans 12:1. How? By not forgetting God like the unredeemed do! By telling others about His good and perfect will!
Telling others about Gods goodness was the natural outflow of David's heart v 16-17 Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will declare what he has done for my soul. I cried to Him with my mouth, and He was extolled with my tongue.
And it should be ours as well. maybe that's why I shout JESUS JESUS JESUS
When I'm overwhelmed, and then I try to follow through by sharing with all of you , my daily journey with Christ. As tears flow this morning I feel God's goodness, prayers answered my healing of cancer to become a vessel of Jesus, Jim Montgomery back surgery he is healing and walking with little pain, so many others, prayers for Bud Bush brain cancer.
We can help so many by intercession prayers, I find everyday someone on Facebook asking for prayer , I don't just respond prayers, I post prayer.
Father, lift up with Your hand of grace to heal, guide, and comfort AMEN
