Saddle help please :)

So I am having a heck of a time finding a saddle to work for me and my gelding. He is a large boy
(16.1/16.2HH
) slightly built down hill, has a pretty round back but big boxy shoulders. I am currently running him in a pozzi
(I'm assuming it's a regular fit as it doesn't have anything on the Latigo keeper
) it's the only saddle that seems to have enough flair for him in the shoulders. Problem is I cannot for the life of me seem to sit down in it, my feet always are underneath of me or behind and I like to ride with them outfront a bit more. I like the way the old Martha josey ultimate sits, as I feel I can ride more aggressive without being scared of my horse hitting his front end going into the barrel like he sometimes will but 1. It's so uncomfortable
(feels like riding a fence
) and 2. It doesn't fit him at all
(I think it's a regular fit, and doesn't have enough flair in shoulder
)
I have tried a martin crown c
(7 gullet
) he got super cranky in it
Also tried an fx3
(9 gullet
) but tipped down hill and seem to pinch in shoulder
Tried a treeless and it rolled
So is there something out there I can try that would fit him and feel secure
(more so in the front end of a saddle
) with my feet out in front or directly underneath so I'm able to roll my pelvis underneath without ever getting put forward even if they hit the front end?

If the fx3 tipped down hill, you may need a flat bar in the Martin tree.
Other saddles you can try
Charmayne James by cactus
Lisa Lockhart wide tree by circle y
Tod sloan b3 fit
Lynn Mackenzie nueva tree by double j
Not sure where you live but if you are close to ponoka
I have a crown c 10 flat, and a Lisa Lockhart wide tree you are more then welcome to try
I also have an old tod sloan that fits wider horses, you can try that too

If you can you need to try a Double J wide fit.

The paint in my avatar is a big horse. He is thick and has massive shoulders. I ride him in a Josey Ultimate. Mine is the regular tree. I had the saddle fitted at Joseys by Ty Mitchell and Pam to a mare that is just as thick as my paint horse. Here is a picture of my trainer on my horse with her Josey Ultimate. As far as comfort, make sure that your seat is large enough. Mine is a 16 inch, trainer's is a 14 inch. It did take me a little while to get used to my saddle--haven't had it but about a year. Once I got used to sitting on my pockets and getting my feet forward I love it.
