| Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a law regarding a seller misrepresenting a horse? Is there s time period? Anything would be very helpful at this point. I was was sold a horse from one seller as being broke broke, only to find after I purchased her that another seller had her listed a month ago on a different site as a bucker. Thanks guys

Location: MD | Have you been on her? Does she buck? Just because one person was having an issue, doesn't mean that the person you bought her from did. Maybe the previous seller's saddle fit poorly, or the mare need to see the chiro. A saddle crashing on one's withers, or a horse being out in the ribs could sure cause one to buck, but those things can also be fixed super quickly.

This is so true, we bought a mare, had a guy ride her for 30 days, a week in he calls & says she bucks, practically every time he rides her. ( I had seen the mare buck with my son, but also divided the fault between the 2 of them) so we make plans to sell her at the sale. Didn't get the bid we wanted so we brought her home. Husband doesn't do "bucking" horses, so I ride her. Not once did she even offer to buck or be silly. I rode her several times, husband sends guy a text about her & us not having any problems. Come to find out his saddle pinched her every time he rode her. My advice is ride her & check her out, there may have been contributing factors to her bad behavior!!

Location: Lost in the swamps | I've seen horses go from grouches to great in less than a month all due to proper saddle fit, and I've seen angels turn into dragons as well. One horse we bought, her back was atrophied and super sore, because they ride her in a junk double t with a bad bar angle. Chiro'ed her a few times and rode In A different saddle and the little mare is riding better than ever and has started winning! Another horse we sold was a crow hopper if you had a saddle that pinched. We sold him with inclusion that be does crow hop if the saddle is Ill fitted and proper saddle fit is a must! No junk saddles!
