I just recently got a new horse. The previous owner ran her in a simple fleece lined hackamore. She runs fine in it but I want something with a little more control as she does get excited. Please leave some suggestions as to some bits to try. Thanks.

A short shank Jim Warner. Be sure that you don't put it up too high. It needs to sit kind of low. My favorite go to bit is a Jr Cowhorse but if the horse is not used a bit it could take some getting used to.
