Your experiences with using Waterford bit? Do they offer good lifting and poll flexion? My gelding likes chain mouths. Would this be a viable option for him as well? Looking for a few different bit to add to my collection.

They are my favorite! They are mild, but there is nothing there for the horse to brace against. They will break down so they cannot grab a hold of the bit. When I showed english (hunters/equitation) I used a waterford. I still have it in a loose ring snaffle, d ring snaffle and a full cheek.

I get lots of lift and flex with mine. I have a CJ and a ringed snaffle.

That's what I was going to say. Most of the hunter people love it. I need to get one...if I don't already have one. Might have to check the bit box lol
