Per my vet absolutely no difference. I would dose a minimum of 1/4 tube per day for 3 weeks, ideally 4. My vet saids newer studies show this amount is effective but you like you stated, I am trying le different things too. I did the 1/4 dose on mine for 3 weeks and and healed him.

There is no difference in these products other than how they're labeled and approved for use. Both are made by Merial and both are 2.28mgs of omeprazole in 1 tube. One is available by prescription only and is used to treat existing ulcers. Dosing protocol is based on the grade of ulcers seen via scope. The other is non prescription and, as labeled, is used as a preventative.

I spent two legs dosing a gelding I had with ZIPPO results. I ended up treating him with gutproof from horsepower herbs and In athe Zone from animal Element. Much cheaper and it worked. No drugs
