I tend to make my horses overly bendy for some reason, so I'm looking for something that's going to help me square my mare up and be able to pick her shoulder up and bring her outside shoulder around in a turn. I currently have her in a little correction bit with a port in it, which has helped a lot with the over flexing, but I still feel like she would benefit from something a little different.

I like these. Use your feet more. And less hand. Guild the horse not pull. To the target position. Most always these horses are very light and don't take much. And people want to over ride them. It's fingers on reins not fist.

The less breaks in the mouthpiece the less amount of bend it will give the horse. Try a Mullen mouthpiece

Agree with this!! On my overly bendy horse, I use a mullen mouth piece with a rope nose band, works fabulous! =]
