John 19:30 " It is finished", and He bowed His head and gave up His Spirit......
Besides I Love you, are there ANY three words more AWESOME than the final three Jesus spoke on the Cross? " It is finished" marked the shift creation had been waiting for since that awful day in the Garden of Eden when our sin broke our connection with the Lord. Three small words held the weight of salvation, the turning point from death to life. ' It is finished" held intense grief because Jesus had died. But His words also have a signal of HOPE as they considered all He had told us would happen and why He came to die. Some might have believed those three words meant exactly what He intended them to mean: " Sin is conquered'. The age of separation from God is over for ALL who BELIEVES that Jesus finished it. HE DID IT! And we get ALL the benefits.. IN Him, our death IS FINISHED. IN Him, our hopelessness has ENDED! IN Him, we have ALL the spiritual BLESSINGS. Because He FINISHED IT, we are NOT finished....
For it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible.
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You AMEN AMEN AMEN
