Alright, I am probably going to get burned for even suggesting this but...
Has anyone actually taken a look (in person) or tried the Hilason Flex saddles?
I realize these are SUPER cheap saddles and typically, you get what you pay for...but, I mean, people are paying thousandsss on light weight synthetic saddles these days (who would have thought!)... which by the way I am seeing for sale used a lot latey.
I would in no way shape or form buy any flex tree, much less a Hilason.
However, their treeless ones that look like Bob Marshalls are worth a look for something that isn't going to break the bank. I wouldn't ride one daily for hours at a time, but they're decent enough.
Junk!
LOL I do question when I see advertised that it fits from 6-8 inch gullet
Ive been out of the game for a while and the flex tree's were pretty new back when I was riding regularly so I know nothing about them really besides I see a lot of saddle brands offering flex trees now.
Are they making horses sore?
I will say I rode in one once recently, it was a HTW flex tree, and I thought maybe it was just me since I hadnt rode in so long, but honestly, I could not sit a trot for the life of me. Wonder if the flex tree had anything to do with that.
