I detest saddle shopping, but here I am. I have a round short backed gelding. Who makes a round skirt barrel saddle or a saddle with shorter than normal bars? BTW, I'll need to sell a Coats and an older Josey in case anyone is looking. 

Vernon Purdy Saddles in TX - they are different. do not cut into the shoulders or the hip...and he can make a spine relief skirt or a skirt that doesn't shoot out that much from behind...

I like my double J Lynn McKenzie wide with a rounded skirt and my Vernon Purdy for my short backed "fluffy'' horses.
