I've lived in MN my whole life and I'm thinking seriously about leaving this state.. I've been researching Arizona.. California.. Nevada. Needing some insight on good locations for finding places to keep horses/live. Recently got my permit, looking to fill it this fall and get serious about pro rodeos in 2016. Thoughts??

I'm in CA and you can ride, run, and compete all year round. AZ is the same way but gets extremely hot in summer.

STEPHENVILLE TEXAS! I just moved here from Colorado and if you want to be the best you have to compete with the best, in Erath County iron sharpens iron and it is an amazing barrel racing/ rodeo community. The possibilities here are endless.

U can be right in the middle of everything if u live in Oklahoma.
I'm originally from Wisconsin...but have lived in Arizona, Southern California, Florida, etc.
I like my horses to have green grass and nice pastures....which ruled out staying in Arizona...where I have family.
The cost of living is high in California and Arizona too, which you should take into consideration, and it's also very pricey to have horses in those states as well.
