Here is my tip.  When you unsaddle pull the girth (back and front) off and hang up seperately. Reattach after you throw your saddle up next time you saddle.  Makes saddling and unsaddling much lighter and girths dry much better.

CYA Ranch - 2014-12-23 8:20 PM I have 4 Cactus Charmaynes and they are pretty heavy, as in 25+ pounds.  I love them though and the weight doesn't bother me.  

Ditto, just got a Cactus CJ in September and it is considerably heavier than my other saddle. However, I like it very much.
