WY Can Chaser - 2015-01-14 4:27 PM I live in the southwest corner of Wyoming. I love it. I love that I can be riding my horse through the sagebrush in a matter of seconds. Our fairgrounds are for the most part open to the public for free. Yes, you have to travel some to go to races but we have local NBHA/other club races most of the year, it doesn't completely shut down. For the bigger added money races you do have to travel to either Utah or Colorado. The wind is not that bad but maybe I am use to it...it keeps what we do get for bugs down. You couldn't pay me enough money to live in Colorado. Wyoming is obviously not for everyone : )

Which is one of the HUGE reasons I wish to stay here forever. My only other place I love is the Black Hills but I don't do tourists. I love the fact that we have so few illegals and so few people that it has to weed out the crazies. If only they could eliminate the welfare, it is pretty high :/ then WY would be perfect, if it isn't already

I don't think I could ever leave Wyoming either.  I am from Utah and lived there for 24 years, I don't really ever want to live in Utah again.  We are looking to move closer to home (currently 9 hours away) but I want to stay in Wyoming.
