I am 6'2" with a 40 inch inseam. I have always drive. Powerstrokes, but three years ago i saw the need for a safe family car. I sat in a million cars! I almost settled for just buying a CRV for leg room. Finally i went and looked at a VW passat. I biught it that day! Super sleek, all leather TONS of leg room and i wasn't sitting on the floor
(kills my hips and knees to sit low
). My car had 35k miles on it and it an 08. The lady bought it and then her company let her us a company car instead so this one sat. I paid $6500! I LOvE it! It gets about 32 ish plus on the freeway and less in town because it has a turbo. But it is FUN!

OhMax - 2016-11-09 5:47 PM I commute 140 miles a day. I currently have a Honda Civic that gets between 30 and 35 mpg. She's little, she's killing my back
(see chiro post
), and I'm pretty well terrified of hitting a deer in her. I need to balance good fuel mileage with something built better for a tall person
(I'm 5'10 and all legs, I need something that sits you more like a truck
) and preferably all wheel drive. We have a 3/4 ton and a 1 ton dually, neither of which are preferable commuter vehicles but the 3/4 ton might have to do for a bit. What mid range size suv's are tall folk finding comfortable to drive?
2014 Chevy Malibu worked perfectly for me
