Our horses are currently wintering on free choice alfalfa/bromegrass bales.  This 6 yr old mare was on Ultium and Forco when she was in heavy open/futurity competition this past year.  She's being ridden consistently, but isn't competing very often, so she's been cut off grain as she's been wintering well.  This photo was taken yesterday and her current winter body consists of a small handfull of wheat midds to mix with her Forco.

This 5 year old mare is on Ultium feed and I'm about 3 weeks into a trial run of MVP Exceed 6-way.  Prior to that she was on Forco as a supplement along with Simply Equine herbs.

Good non-GMO Alfalfa.  turned out in a lightly grassed pasture. Apple Cider Vinegar in water.

This is October of his 20 year old year.

Good non GMO alfalfa, turnout in lightly grassed pasture (I don't remember if I had ACV in her water at this time (they seem to get a richer color to their coat,I've tested it for 2 years at different times of the year)
She's 4 years old in this pic

My children are fat at the moment!  This is my 23 year old appendix gelding.  I'm thinking he'll give birth around March 1. LMAO   The other one is 16 this year, and this is an old pic, but one of my favs.  Will try to find a couple others.
They are Purina Senior Active, THE Muscle Mass with Ulcer, Hoof,  and digestion, and probably 80/20 Alfalfa/grass hay.
