I miss my Cruel Girl Utility Jeans!!! Finally found a style that fit and they discontinued them....
I wear whatever is on sale on eBay now. I'll make my bid of $5 and go try the same pair on in a store to make sure they fit. I've gotten to try so many pair of jeans that way. I buy any length and hem them. I don't pay more for than $20 ever for a pair of jeans.
I like the Thred Up app and site as well. Buy a lot of name brand things there.
The Cinch Bailey has taken the place of Utility. Cinch Kylee is the replacement for the Georgia.

I need jeans that are relaxed fit and loose thru the hips and thighs. Levis 550 relaxed fit are great, however, the sizes can very as much as 4 inches for the exact same jeans. It's very frustrating to buy the exact same pair of jeans and one fits loose and the other you can barely get past your knees. I really prefer jeans that sit above the waist. Give me the "mom" jeans and bring back the old rockie jeans, I loved those and how they fit. I'm 62, don't need my behind hanging out the back or jeans sitting so low my belly fat hangs over the top. I need jeans that will hold that in. Absolutely hate stretch jeans.

I have yet to find a pair of jeans that fits me perfectly! I have a tiny waist and medium size booty and thighs, plus a 36+inseam. All the CT are too big in the waist and end up bunchy in the front. RR cowgirl are kinda the same way. I do really like the Ariat riding jeans but I have to buy them tight in the thighs for the waist to fit. They need to start a custom measurement jeans company!!

This is why, when you find something that fits, buy 5 of them. I have 6 pairs of Ariat jeans. They all fit the same. I had two pairs or R&R cowgirl jeans that I loved how they fit and didn't stretch, but the zippers on both broke early on. I have a pair of CT jeans that I've tried to wear twice. They fit for about ten minutes and then get all saggy. So add that to the brand new jeans that I'll never wear again, sitting in the closet...
But the problem is, they all wear out eventually. I skinny thighs, no junk and too much waist. The best fit I could find lately was the Rocky 5 pocket Slim Fit and I could still fit two legs in on leg hole. But they were the heavier denim and were Not low rise
(nor the old high rise Rockies
), so when I found out who had them on clearance I ended up buying 15 pair, but alas, I only have two pair that are still new.
Since I was running low I tried on some blingy butt jeans that I came across for a more reasonable price
(around $40
) that the $100-150 that I have seen and actually found some that fit pretty well. They are Grace in LA and the "Easy Fit" come up higher in the back than he regular fit, making the lower rise a little more tolerable., though I have to make sure that I have on a big enough shirt to camouflage to extra I carry around the middle. They ARE snug around my skinny legs so couldn't recommend them for bigger thighs. I don't care for the flared, so called boot cut. I like the old style boot cut that would stack and NOT drag the ground. Not a fan of stretch in my denim either. Sigh...WHY has it become such a chore to find a decent fitting, tough jean??!!
No I am off to google Ariat jeans and see what those are.
