I found this informative and interesting. I had Tildren injected for heel pain about two years ago, but it didn't make any improvement. I probably wouldn't have done it if I would have read this first. Just wanted to share for those that might be considering it.

Very interesting read. We have a horse that blew the stifle out, I mean no cartilage, tendons, ligaments. Had stem cells injected and starting the recovery process. I have had a few different people tell me that I need to ask about Tildren because it helped their horse when coming back from stifle lameness.

On the subject of your stifle issue- I wouldnt even consider Tildren being all your issues are soft tissue or bascially NOT bone.
The Tildren article reminds me of those anti vaccine articles- but I do agree on the foreign issue- if we hear an accent- SIRI or cant get it- it MUST be good!
But that aside- I have used Tildren about 5 years ago and it worked for our horse but the horse was in very early stages of boney issues in the hoof.

I think what a lot of vets and ppl using Tilden miss is confirming its a bone issue. It saved my horse, but she had issues with her navicular bone. I don't understand why ppl use it for hocks, other joints, or foot pain in general. I am sure someone will prove me wrong but so far I have not talked to anyone who for sure had bone deterioration that it did not help. But I will say I have used Tilden and know a lot of others who have, none of us have noticed side effects. My horse was actually in a study for a drug similar to Tilden. She was getting the shots monthly I believe, that's the soundest she ever was. Since then I have done Tilden twice about 8 months apart. My vet said that the other drug was close to being approved.

I have used tildren for fractures it has shortened the recovery time, and the horses went back of performance. I read the article, and I am taking it down to my vet to read and get his thoughts
