Location: NW MT | first off, I HATE windows 8. Is there anyway to keep your screen from "jumping around"?? I had it on my last Toshiba & this HP has it too - am using the option that is more like the old Windows. The Toshiba died so my honey bought me this HP. Having never had one before, I am wondering if this is an HP thing or not ... my Toshibas have always been "light touch" keys, while on this new HP, I have to "pound" them in comparison or the keys don't respond. Is that normal or did we get a crappy one? :O |

Location: Pacific Northwest | By jumping around do you mean where you accidentally swipe your mouse a certain way and it switches to a different screen? As long as I keep everything closed (like if I open my camera roll, I make sure to close it) my screen never switches because it has nothing to switch between haha. I also always leave my thing open to "desktop", and I have my documents, Word, calculator, and internet pinned to the toolbar on the bottom. Makes it kind of like just using normal Windows.
And I don't think it's normal to have to push hard on the keys of any laptop haha. But I've only ever had a Dell. |

Control Panel > Appearance & Personalization > Ease of Access> then "mouse" or "keyboard" settings

Location: NW MT | NJJ, thank you but finding one that will "fix" that ... thinking it is just this computer. I am not used to having to push keys this hard! As far as "jumping" on the screen thing, I do know what you mean about it flipping to another open screen, but this is different.....it actually "jumps up & down" on the same screen I am on ... does not do it all the time, but when it does, it about gives me a headache. It was fine when I started this reply, but has stated jumping now. l am thinking I am going to have to go to the puter guru & see what he has to say ... he recommended the HP & also loves the windows 8. |

Location: where ever my L/Q trl is parked | The screen shouldn't jump up and down. I'd take it back to where your bf got it and either get a new one or have them fix it. |
