Scar treatment suggestions

I have a horse that pulled a flap of skin up her leg. No internal tissue, just kind of raked it up. It's healed and has a proud flesh type of lump. Anyone have an idea of what I can do to make it more sightly? It isn't bad. I'd just like to make it prettier. Vitamin E? Mederma?

I'd have the vet cut off any proud flesh and treat with Wonder dust
(works well for me to dry it out and scab it up
).
I've also heard underwoods works, but I've never tried it.

I like silver sulfadiazine. I think the product name is Thermazene. I've put that on some bad cuts and they've healed great.

I'm with Allison, being that the cut is already pretty much healed, I think the only way to get rid of the bump is to have a vet open it back up and then let the skin regenerate down covering it. Honestly, with the time frame you're dealing with I think you should just leave it alone and offer an xray if anyone questions it.
