Damn Yankee Posts: 12390 Location: Somewhere between raising hell and Amazing Grace	Really stupid question.....I went to register a 2015 foal online for the first time ever, and the website is telling me only the owner of the dam can register the foal??? Problem is that I AM the owner of the dam. I even pulled up the AQHA records to make sure there wasn't an error. What the heck?

That's just one more bit of crap a buyer has to deal with when someone forgets to actually geld the colt. It takes very little effort and no money to send papers in as a gelding when you actually do it.

I joined right before I tried to do the registration. But rather then renew my membership from 2005 I put it in as new. Their system will automatically combine the old and the new but I didn't give it enough time. They said it should work when I try again and if not to call them. So it was an error on my part
