What a beautiful morning

This morning I opened the back door to let our boxer and older tiny toy poodle out to relieve themselves. Oh what a gorgeous morning. Bailey the boxer bailed off the top step like a wild bull. She ran out, took care of her business and oops she spotted a-rabbit. At the same time Baby the poodle went down each step very slowly
(can't you just see the 15 year old going down the steps
). I took my usual
position and sat on the third step. Bailey was chasing that rabbit all over our very large back yard trying to run , make rabbit turns, breathing and bark at the same time, it was really funny. Baby didn't think it was funny so she came back to the steps and carefully climbed up the steps and sat beside me. In the meantime Bailey never gave up chasing that rabbit. Eventually, Bailey came over to us and laid on the ground exhausted. I looked down at Baby the elderly poodle and she looked up at me and said, " I just hate FAST FOOD"

The morning is always the most beautiful part of the day and animals are waking up full of energy. Unfortunately I like to sleep late. On weekdays I am up wake before the sun and then off to school. Ugg.

Absolutley my favorite time of year. The mornings are crisp and cool and all the animals are bright eyed and bushy tailed. Sometimes makes for an interesting turn our regimen!

It has been a gorgeous morning in KS too. Bright sunshine and a bit of wind ... but I'll take it before the snow flies!
