| Depravity. Without God, men are fools Psalm 14:1 never doing good. Straying, corrupt and ignorant . V 4 we live in a depraved world.
Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who can know it? Genesis 6:5 The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
So many people live foolishly. They live as if there is no God or standard of right and wrong. They think like fools, having al, the right answered when they don't even know the right questions.
Ultimatlely, they die like fools fearing death, knowing deep down that there is a God and judgment.
Billy Graham said, " When my decision for Christ was made I walked slowly down and knelt in prayer. I opened my heart and knew for the first time the sweetness and joy of God, of truly being born again. If someone asked me the next day what happened, I couldn't have told him. I didn't know, but I knew in my heart that I was somehow different and changed."
Salvation is a matter of the heart. John 3:18 he who belies in Him is not condemned ; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name od the only begotten Son of God.
All are lost and our only hope is Jesus. Salvation has come out of Zion. Psalm 14:7 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! HIS NAME IS JESUS!
For it is WITH God all things are possible.
