With God all things are possible Posts: 3917	it seems that it's when I find myself in the context of disobedience that I realize and acknowledge my sinfulness to The Lord. This is not the time to attempt to remind myself of my goodness but to acknowledge His forbearance and long suffering. Psalm 6:1-10 is definitely in a time of distress and uncertainty as he cries out from deep within for The Lord to stay His wrath and displeasure. This passage serves a the first of" penitential psalms" which speaks of seeing our need for repentance. In this moment the Pslamist is mindful of sleepless nights. He is being troubled each day and night, and now in his distress he calls on The Lord to deliver him from his helplessness and hopelessness. What a terrible predicament to be in. I've heard it said that we can live forty days without food, four days without water, four minutes without air, but only four seconds without hope. The greatest truth gleaned from this text is, " THE LORD IS MY HOPE!" I am not sure what has led you into distress today; get quiet, listen, seek The Lord, and place your hopelessness in His care. You will be amazed at His capacity to care for your deepest needs. REMEMBER, NO one ever cared for you like Jesus. HE IS OUR HOPE! For it is WITH God ALL things are possible. Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to Yôu Amen
