Anyone familiar with wave carver? Curious if any of his offspring have done well in barrels?

I don't have a wave carver but a bill cole, full brother to wave carver. He can be hot but he's a 1/2 d horse. I blame his quirky personality on his crappy start at the track

I have one I'm starting on barrels and plan to start entering in the spring. She's 8 and was on the track for years.  Did well on the track and her xrays and legs look really clean.  She's tough and seems like she would work 3 legged.  But she's also impatient and can be clumsy.  I've had to spend a lot of time trying to teach her to collect up.  I've seen a couple run at big open shows and they were both just over a half second off.  I'm hopeful my girl will turn out well.  Also glad to see him in BBR stallion incentive and Future Fortunes!

As the self proclaimed biggest fan of FDD and Beduino, that is one cross that just never interested me for barrels. Runaway Winner himself looked like he should have been a world champion hunter under saddle horse. They just didn't have the look to be a barrel horse, but he was a super star broodmare sire on the race track, especially via that one daughter Runaway Wave. I liked his full brother Ocean Runaway better of the 2, but just not a bloodline I would want for barrel racing. I talked to a couple people that had daughters and they were all run. Not goofy, just not really mentally or maybe it was physically able to lay down a nice turn.
