| The greatest struggles in life are the struggles we have with God. Often, we yield to temptation and feel anger because we do not understand the ways of God. Sometimes our choices, make the struggles. Then we ask God to fix them....we may look at the wicked prospering and question why? We see ourselves as faithful and wonder why God seems silent. God won't change circumstances, until He has changed you. So don't ask God to change your circumstances, ask God to change you in the circumstances.. I LOVE LOVE the song by Micah Tyler, PLEASE watch the Utube video...I want to be different....its brings a new perspective when things seem to keep going wrong. Psalm 37:1 Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass and wither as the green herb. YES! It's hard not to become discouraged, or distressed.....April 5 ,2018 I found out I had breast cancer for the second time, different cancer, called hospice for my Dad, and put my husbands good head horse down, do to complications to antibiotics....had surgery on friday May 11, my dad passed to the Lord May 12th, my new roof leaked, septic backed up same day, ran over a kitten.. Thursday my wheel bearings caught on fire 4 miles from arena, My father in law passed away Aug 13th, I second degree burned my hand. Etc etc you get my struggles....so YES! We can get discouraged, distressed....but the answer to how we can find peace, comfort is in V 11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in abundance of peace. We received Christ by humbling ourselves at the cross without any sense of entitlement or selfish ambition. Colossians 2:6 " As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk IN Him" Once we have received Christ, we are to walk in that same humble manner. We are to have NO sense of entitlement, or no demand for our way, no ego that must be stroked. This humble, cross centered life is reflected in the psalmis'ts commands " TRUST IN THE LORD" COMMIT YOUR WAY" have God's ambition, not your own. DESIRE HIS WILL. Then "REST IN THE LORD" when we want what He wants , it follows that we can rest from our stress, TRUSTING Him with the outcome. Just as we TRUST Him with our soul for eternity.. YES , LIFE IS HARD! I have to step out of my flesh side, and into the spirit of my soul. To rest....overwhelmed with this life I KNOW I CANT BE STRONG ALL THE TIME...NO ONE CAN!! SO LET GO , LET GOD! Do your best and God will do the rest. Father God, guide me to DO ALL things that will bring GLORY AND HONOR TO YOU AMEN for it is WITH God ALL things ARE POSSIBLE Matthew 19:26 |
