Anyone have any experiences they want to share? I know the scores are compiled of two judges and the time. Curious as to the specifics the judges are looking at.

Its a pretty cool deal.  I've got a young mare we are going to do the rope horse futurities on next year, and then hopefully one of our young studs will show in 2021.  

Very cool! I am excited about the door opening for rope horses. We have a colt that is currently 3 and doing well enough heeling that hes won some ameature rodeo money (with very limited hauling of course, we don't want to over do it). Knocking around the idea of entering him at the futurities. Keep us updated on your hopefuls!

The other nice thing is that several of the futurities also count toward a world show qualfication and allow you to earn AQHA points.  Its a pretty nice way to season a young horse.
