I have uxed it for a bowed tendon and it sucked the swelling out really well. that horse healed up pretty fast. i wouldn't hesitate to use it for what you got there

I try and ALWAYS have it on hand. I have had a mare slice from her anus down below her vulva 4 inches deep and about 8 inches long.. healed, no scar in about 5-6 weeks. I have had severed arteries
(not veins
) and other big injuries. With nutrawould, they heal faster, and PROPERLY.
Do make sure you do the loading dose on it though so it can start working. I have never seen better results. I didnt have any for a horse that was injured this spring, and I am STILL dealing with it 2 months later. If I had nutrawound, I would guarantee it would have been healed weeks ago.
Obviously, I swear by it.

I don't let ANY of my horses heal from ANYTHING without at least one bag of THE NutraWound going through them. It isn't even an option I believe in it so much.
When Grasshopper hurt himself, he went through two bags and got the dose twice a day while he was at the vet clinic. There isn't a shadow of a doubt it is what staved off infection and healed that leg as well as it did. We ran another bag through him when he got home after the skin grafts. In hind sight, I wish I would have kept him on it for the full 15 weeks but that is ok. Quite literally everytime I take that horse to Dr. Tanner he gathers all sorts of people around to tell the story. PHT blanket and THE Nutrawound. There isn't anyone on the planet that can convince me those two things didn't keep him alive and heal him like he did.
Lilly hurts herself I swear once a year. Everytime a bag goes through her. I always do a twice a day regime for 2 weeks and then pull to once a day. She got 2 bags when she had surgery in November and she healed beautifully and fast. She was to be cleared to run and two days before that vet appointment she tore her hammy. Put another bag through her and she
I have so many stories but everytime anything happens to one of my horses, they get at least one bag and I see the difference. One of the most amazing things ever invented.
