My vet used to be against the injections but he said he has changed his tune about the powder because it's more consistent. We are going to try on My high strung fractious mare. She already is grain free and has been checked over for any issues but she is just a handful. What is your experience with it? Does it take the run out ? What will it do? She get a half of the tiny scoop daily that's it. Tia

I inject IM. 1/4 CC weekly. He runs better.

Funny this is on here- I just started my mare on this as well.   I also just ordered hemp oil to see if that helps her any.  Have you seen a difference in your mare?  I started mine on it probably 2 weeks ago and havent been able to go to any shows yet because of the weather, so no idea how shes going to act yet, but Im interested in seeing! 

My mare has been on it for a couple weeks.  I hadn't noticed a difference riding here at home, she was still spooking at birds in trees and leaves falling lol so I decided to add a dose of cep gear down when i took her to a local arena open ride and to my surprise it was the best ride there i have ever had.  

Was it the reserpine or was it a combo of the reserpine and gear down paste but thats the formula im going with.  she actually let me lope her big circles and walk without breaking into a parade pony trot and jumping out of her skin.  keeping my fingers crossed.  

Is that the powder you've been using for the last 2 weeks?
