What seats are slippery? Is gator one of them?

Mine has the gator seat. It is a little slippery.... I also have fully tooled jockeys and fenders so there's a lot of opportunity to slide on mine. I've used it twice now for playdays and haven't had issues yet though.

scootersgirl - 2014-02-23 12:59 PM I hope you don't mind but I have a question about these saddles. Everyone who owns one do they tend to fit different horses? Or maybe just one type. I've seen a few I would seriously like to buy but not sure if they would work for my horse. My mare is a bit racey bred but not really narrow. She's long backed and has highish withers that slope. Thanks for any help.
My regular QH bars fits most everything EXCEPT my show horse with a wider fat wither/shoulder. My full QH bars fits nothing EXCEPT the show horse. So there you go ;)

I've got both a regular and full QH bar trees on the way to me to see if they fit my horse! Crossing my fingers because they look like pretty saddles!

I have the full QH bars. I also have different thicknesses of saddle pads. It has fit everything I've put it on. I also am a rep for Triple Creek and if you're in the OKC area, you're welcome to try my saddle... I also know saddle fitting.

Thanks! I don't actually have a pic of the saddle on MY horse. That's the pic I bought the saddle from... lol. The gator is a bit slippery but not terrible. If you had a 5000 MPH horse I might not get it, but me and my old reliable did great in it.

Please come to MI! I've been trying to find someone to help me decide if my TC saddle fits my mare correctly.

I am still waiting and order it in October. Was originally told 8-9 weeks. They had to make my tree. I was told 2 more weeks and I will have mine. We shall see
