I've used a couple of different places and it always ranges from $150 to $200. I had two done in March and it was $120 for the float and $50 for sedation (per horse). This is in western Washington.

Talkeetnababe - 2016-04-05 3:20 PM Apparently way too much. $150 plus the cost of drugs and an office fee, central Texas. Ends up around $250

Yes you are paying way too much. Start checking around. Great horse dentists in central and east Texas, should be 85-110 for maintenance floats, includes sedation. You may pm me if you need names.

Thank you all for posting. You all gave me a good idea of what to expect. We used a reputable guy that came from Texas (Todd is all I know). My 8 yr old gelding's mouth was in good shape just needed a little floating of the teeth. Cost $90.00. Im in Northwest Louisiana.

Northern Kentucky $75 for a power float, $40 farm call. I cannot remember the cost of sedation, but I think my vet charges $10 per horse.
