Still mooing (aka blue rare )
You blue rare ladies and my child could all grill together obviously! We were at a steakhouse and he ordered his filet RARE (he enunciates for the waiter/waitress!!! ) and it came back medium. . . When the waiter asked if it was cooked correctly Chandler said "not really," and of course they asked if he wanted another steak---he told them we were going to the Eric Church concert and didn't have time but they could just bring him a cup of blood to go with it
Y'all I about got under the table---the poor waiter didn't know whether to take him serious or not. He stammered for a second and then said he would have to ask the manager--Chandler finally let him off the hook and said he was joking. Although I'm not sure he was. . .
You raised him right, that's for sure! What a good sense of humor! I would have died laughing right there, no Eric Church concert for me
The boy is a mess---I don't know where he got his sense of "self". His father wasn't like that and I'm not funny or think-fast-on-my-feet (foot in my case!!!) either. . . . |

I’d say that right there proves your sense of humor! It’s never good to take ourselves too seriously, unlike our cuts of meat- that’s life or death! |

Location: west of East Texas | A 3inch filet rare. My kids even started asking for rare as soon as they could talk. The waiters always did a double take and ask them 'are you sure?' My oldest will even order rare and then eat just the center out. |

I like them a couple inches thick myself. It's only brown on the outside to kill the bacteria. |

Location: The best kept secret in TX | There's a steak house in Dallas that won't let you order a steak if it's cooked any further than meidum. They request you get a different meat type because it ruins the cut of meat.... LOL wonder if it's the same place the above poster left from.
Medium Rare please!
I'll bring the dessert! Who likes cobbler and Blue Bell???

| My eyes still want blue rare -- but my aged tummy says medium/medium rare. This might be my biggest loss so far in the getting older thing!! |

Location: NE TX | I used to take it medium well, then medium, now I like it medium rare. I think it has more flavor and if it's cooked right its tender and still has plenty of juices. If you don't eat it all it can be warmed back up the next day and not be rubber. |
