 "Sweetheart of the Rodeo"
     Location: Montana | I lost my good gray mare a week ago and was able to save some hair. I was wanting to get a key chain made from it. Are there any good places that will do this? I really don't want to send the hair out only to have the people not return it. I don't have much to to play with and want to make the most of it.

        Location: ND | Check this gal out. I had her do one of the sculptures when we lost Jesse's ranch horse & it turned out wonderful. She also makes some jewelry. She returned every piece of hair she didn't use. http://www.myhorseart.com/ You might also want to visit with RockRoad as I know she does some horsehair work too. |

I really like these rings that my friend makes. She also does bracelets, necklaces, etc. Her page: https://www.facebook.com/tellintails eta: I'm sorry, I just read that you want a key chain. I'm not sure how I missed that... I'm sure she can hook you up with whatever you have in mind, and I would trust her with whatever you send her. <script>(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

I had this place do a sculpture for my neice when her pony died. She used the ponies hair (tail) and made the sculpture to look like a picture I had sent her of my niece and her pony running barrels, the clothes my neice had on and everyhting were painted to match the picture. It was expensive, but she did a wonderful job. My neice was 10 when I gave it to her for Christmas and when she opened it up and realized what it was she started crying. |
