I've only had one of each. The circle y didn't fit any of the horses I tried it on and the Billycook fit a wide variety of horses comfortably

I have had a Circle Y The Proven for a year and love it. In fact I took it to the saddle shop today to get more holes poked in the stirrup leathers so I can go back to using it on Clifford with shorter stirrups. And I traded two Silver Royal saddles for a Billy Cook to use on Joker. So in a few days I should be able to offer a good comparison.

had both. My Cook fit colts and racy made horses best. My proven fit rounder flatter horses best. Provens have a 5 inch cantle which I hate.
