Location: Kansas | I have a filly that was born of two appendix parents, stallion owner was not advertised as appendix........AQHA won't register her, and she is a grand daughter of frenchmans guy on the top side, out of an own daughter of Mr. Eye Opener.
Would she be considered "marketable" if she had AAHA (american appendix horse association) papers on her to at least show her breeding? Looking more for the future if I end up ever selling her. |

| The questions I have, and I just skimmed over the website, is how do they verify the horse is what you say the horse is?
It would help in the sale, but I am not sure you would get full dollar value of a comparable horse with AQHA papers. It also proves age which is a big plus. |

Both parents are DNA'ed through AQHA, I was thinking of getting a DNA test done on her for proof of her lineage. I bought this filly before the mare even foaled...... |

Location: Kansas | Mare's SI was only 74 so she isn't eligible....as far as the stallion....i'm not sure because he was never raced. I spoke with the stallion owners daughter and she stated they were going to try for him ROM, but doubted he would get it. |

they are very easy to get. They need to find smaller AQHA shows in their area (unless he is running a nice set) and talk some people into entering up too to make it a point class. Most shows are 2 days and also double judged. They are stupidly expensive with drug fees etc, but well worth it if the stud needs regular papers. |
