Teen Advice Giver	So after much debate, thinking, stres, you name it, etc. WE have decided to have a small family ceremony next month and then have a reception/party next summer. Problem: We sent save the dates out already... So I obviously have to send out a letter, note, etc. about the new changes. Anyone good with words wanna help me ? lol. Just needs to state we have decided on a small family ceremony and that an inviatation to a summer 2015 reception will follow. Help! Thanks in advance.

Teen Advice Giver	oh and maybe I should add in the letter BTW I'm NOT pregnant! ugh my future in laws keep questioning my fiance... "Are you sure shes not pregnant ?". I might have to mail a negative pregnancy test with each letter apparently..ugh

Popped Posts: 20421 Location: LuluLand~along I64 Indiana	with christmas comming up i would send a christmas card out that says we were so in love we couldnt wait another day. Add the date of the party next summer or dont tie yourself down and if you throw it then send out invites.

Teen Advice Giver	ooohh! I like the christmas card idea. More then likely the wedding is actually going to be on December 27th , so christmas cards would work!

We do want to celebrate our marriage with our friends this summer. Invitations to follow. Thank you for your understading as we begin this wonderful new chapter of our lives.

Cute Little Imp Posts: 2747 Location: N Texas	I'm really glad you're going with what you truly WANT to do! I wish I would've gone with a smaller wedding. I would probably wait until after your wedding to send out the notes about the change. That way you won't have people harassing you about still wanting to be invited. You can send out announcements letting everyone know that you are now married and will have a bigger celebration on another day. Also, leave out any mention of a non-existent pregnancy! People are always going to speculate, and it's really none of their business anyway!
