if you have stalled there in the summer are the outside or inside stalls better as far as cooler? I know they have large fans in the inside but wasn't sure how much cool air they blow and most stalls are solid walls

I've never had a problem stalling there in the summer inside. I always bring my own fans but it isn't too hot

I have not stalled there in the summers but I did take note that the area I was stalled in would be a furnace in the summer. I was there in the fall and it was just stagnant air where my stalls were, I felt so bad for my horses. I hung fans even though it was cooler weather. It was in a wing off to the side of the main barn, no big fans in there and absolutely no air moving in there at all as it is not open. I doubt hanging fans in the summer would even do much good in that part of the barn. In the main section of the barn you could feel the big fans and there was good air flow.

I honestly hate Glen Rose in general. The arena, the set up, stall area sucks. We have to go ever summer for the 50K Ranch Rodeo and Ultimate Performance Horse Challenge, like I said, I hate it.

We have been there many a times, and if you have fans it is not too bad, I would recommend cleaning your stalls good. Not a whole lot of air movement, and the ammonia can get bad... If possible we do request an outdoor stall though.

Stalls outside are a little more airy in the summer but take a fan. I love that place!
