Elite Veteran Posts: 1032 Location: IL	I want the good, the bad, and the ugly please. These seem like they would be great in the long run vs rubber mats due to the drainage. Bulls Eye Posts: 6443 Location: Oklahoma	I had the stall skins in the past and LOVED them. My stall stayed much more dry than other stalls that had mats. I used Cedar rest shavings instead of regular shavings and they dry out.

I used Cedar rest shavings instead of regular shavings and they dry out. That's great to know as wet is a constant battle with my two mares. Did you have any issues with them tearing or from horses pawing? Both mine paw at feeding time and one is a big time stall walker

I did stall skins in both and kept it bedded with at least 5" of cedar rest bedding. It helped with fly control etc. After it rained, I would fluff the cedar rest and let it dry. A LOT less waste of bedding than shavings.
