has anyone dealt with a horse that was kicked in the neck? It's my daughter's horse she is 19. We have an appointment to get it xrayed on Thursday. I am trying to not think of the worse case scenario but I am very worried. She is standing but keeps her head down and cannot flex her head side to side. we are giving her banamine to keep her comfortable till we get her to the vet. she got kicked on the left side around C5 or 6. I am praying it's not bad, my daughter will be devastated if we have to put her down.

Ok good. She might have some nerve damage after it's all said and done. Best to make sure she's comfortable. Hopefully nothing is fractured
