I have a magnetic pulse machine. I have had awsome results with it for all soft tissue injuries and soreness.

I have no facts...no information. I can only tell my experience and I have no idea how it works. A friend has a Respond blanket...electromagnetic pulse thing. She has the blanket, legs and neck parts. When we put it on my mare for 30 minutes, it is all I can do to get her to load in the trailer. It's like she has had tranqualizers. She is so relaxed she literally looks drunk. I have to wait another 30 min to get her loaded to go home.
We were not treating for a specific injury, just stress from a long trip. She has had that reaction every time we have used it on her.
If I could buy any 1 piece of equipment, that's probably what I would get.

I have never used it on a horse but my husband and I were invited to demonstration by a salesman a few years ago. My husband had suffered several shoulder dislocations
(by several I mean probably upwards of 100 or more, it would fall out when he sneezed, if we hit a bump driving down the road and while he slept
). He had reconstructive surgery which kept his shoulder in but he had lost around 40% of movement. It made roping extremely difficult and he wasn't able to really extend his free arm when riding bucking horses. We went to the demo because my husband was going to prove the "voodoo machine" wrong. He sat in a chair for about 15 minutes with it turned up as high as he could stand, it was literally making his body jolt with every pulse. After the session, the salesman asked my husband to raise his arm. My husband got this "told you so" look on his face and raised his arm. Much to his surprise he was able to raise his arm clear up to his head which he had not been able to do for years. That was almost 6 years ago and although he has lost some movement since the session he still retains about 80-85%.

Thanks for the feedback. My mare has a sore shoulder and I am considering having a 5 day treatment done.
Sounds like it is very helpful with soft tissue injurys.
