| I have inquired into buying some MagnaCu hock wraps or 3in1s but I was wondering everyone's OPs on treatment aids. Any experiences welcome. The mare has a bowed tendon close to the hock. Has been out since Sept and is still lame on the leg.
Also I saw a thing a while back about a tendon injection that was supposed to increase healing ect? | |

| The injection may be a product called " a cell" it is generic stem cells, my vet had used the real stem cells harvested out of the hip, and this product, no difference in healing time and the end result.
A cell my vet charges 200 for the medication and I do believe it is liscensed in USA, then he charges the administration fee.
I have had horses done with this product who have had tendon injuries such as bowed, a blood clot in the middle where we had to split the tendon to remove it, a torn deep digital flexor tendon, crushed collateral ligament, and once I was given the okay to ride, other veterinarians could not tell an injury ever occurred. These are all mares I am running or plan on running that will be broodmares once I am finished with them.
Also all the above horses were back to work in 6-8 weeks except the one who we split her tendon, she was 6 months. She was sound but had occasional swelling in the leg not the tendon more lymphatic and the vet wouldn't let me ride her till there was no swelling for a month. | |

I am trying to look up the product now. Is there any way you could get me more info on it? I'm taking horses to the vet on Monday (including her) and would like to have my vet look it up and see what she thinks.
