Location: Stephenville		New to the Fort Worth area. Granbury/Stephenville to be specific, and looking for someone to shoe my barrel horses. Disappointed in the ones I've found thus far. Looking for opinions on who is the best in the area! Willing to travel or pay the shoer extra if they're a little farther away! Just need someone who knows how to do the job right! Comments and opinions on shoers in the area please! Pictures of your horses feet and who does them! Any help is greatly appreciated! Input on who NOT to use, and why, is appreciated as well.

Location: The edge of no where		 We use Curtis Hammond in Granbury.  Brian Groves is also in Granbury and does great work.  Zac Cobb is another one that I'd recommend.

BZim - 2016-04-16 11:05 AM For anyone curious: I went through a few horse shoers in this lovely experience, with some very poor results. I finally tried a man someone recommended through pm. Rich Simpson... He's fantastic! If you need the job done right I would highly recommend him, awesome person and knows what he's doing. Treats the horses extremely well and has a lot of experience with performance horses. Don't want cut down heels and long toes? Call Rich. Don't want extra shoe hanging out the back for your horse to tear off? Call Rich. He's the man!
