boon Posts: 4	I am located in South Texas and the mosquitos are horrendous, much like small vampire birds. Welps on welps. Fly spray and other chemical repellents only work to an extent so I will be ordering a sheet to hopefully help the situation. I am needing a sheet that has max coverage (hood and belly band preferable, a full body suit would be fine by me!), must be durable, mesh that MOSQUITOS cannot bite through, and compatible with the hot and humid climate we are in (Id sacrifice some sweating over horse thrashing around trying to get mosquitos off of them. Sheets will more than likely only be used from sunset to sunrise when mosquitos are at full force). I do not mind paying $100+ for a sheet that can provide for all of the above; does anybody have any suggestions, reviews, and/or recommendations?! Thanks in advance!

Take a Picture Posts: 12838	I think the one that I used was an Amigo Mio. Has a neck cover, no belly band. I think it was about $80. My horse is in a pasture with trees and she walked under trees all the time and that sheet held up well. Will see if I can find a link for you. The insects here are terrible. Also I just bought Mosquito Halt Spray. It had very good reviews. I also get the neck cover. They dont drop as long as I would like on longer legged horses but they do work for mosquitos. Weatherbeeta also makes one with a similar material that would work for the mosquitos.
