I am planning on attending a barrel clinic in Cheyenne Wyoming and I have never crossed the Wyoming boarder with horses. Does anyone know what paperwork, shots ect. that I might need to get so that I'm not in deep water when it comes time for the clinic? Any help would be appreciated

Coggins within the year, a health within 30 days and brand inspection papers. That should get you in but like Hotel California, you can never leave. LOL just kidding! Hope you enjoy the clinic

Your avatar says you are from CO. Make sure you have your brand inspection done. Wyoming and CO are brand inspection states. If you don't have it you could get a fine or have your horse impounded.

Exactly what they said...but I hope when we come FROM California to SD next year, someone checks us! It's expensive to have done here...when I brought a horse from Wyoming to here no one checked, but don't do this cause the moment you don't is the time they will check. LOL

I drove from Utah to Colorado and back
(going through Wyoming
) this past July. I made sure I had my brand inspection, coggins, and health cert
(as I was going to CSU in Ft Collins
). I never stopped at any port of entries going either way.
I have had friends that went into Wyoming without a coggins... they got pulled over and were required to quarantine their horses since they didn't have a coggins.
