Ok guys I need hat tips! My felt got SOAKED at a rodeo yesterday..... It looks like it went thru h*'ll and back
(didn't even come off my head
) I need to know how to get it back to looking good. I'm taking it to get reshaped tomorrow. Is there anything else I can do? And the back side of my hat keeps turning up, anything I can do to prevent that?
TIA!

I always just ironed mine out flat and then started from scratch for the brim. The crown should go back without much trouble. If it has already dried out just dip it into the bathtub then iron. Sounds iffy but it does work.

Get a can of stiffening spray.
Get a small teakettle, boil water.
Hold hat over steam and mold it until you're happy with it.
Spray with stiffener.
Done.
