I've never really had a horse with spring allergies before but my new guy definitely has them. Ever since the pollen arrived, his eyes have watered and gotten gunked up. Anybody have any horse allergy relief tips?

Terramycin. It's a fantastic broad spectrum antibiotic and has worked wonders for my mares during allergy season.

What is this? Is this only through a vet? Interested here, I"m dealing with the same thing once the warm weather gets here :(

It's over the counter. You should be able to purchase it at just about any livestock supply store, Tractor Supply, etc.

Our paint mare does the same thing every spring. I got some hydroxyzine powder from the pharmacy where I work and it has made a big difference. It's similar to Benadryl. It's easy to get if your vet wants to try it, let me know if I can help.
