Have a safari cap that is black with orange bead work. around the brim that attaches to the hat is sweat marks that is very noticeable. Not sure how to clean. Dishwasher is broke so cant use that.

Why don't you contact the company and see if they have any recomendations regarding the cleaning of their hats. You may have to hand wash it!

dependent upon the type of thread that was used, you should be able to toss it in the washer and air dry.

I have a great recipe for cleaning caps, ball caps, and safari caps, and even those with beadwork will be safe and come clean.
Fill a sink with fairly hot water, add a cup of baking soda, a cup vinegar and a couple drops of regular DAWN dish soap. it'll foam up, and you immerse the caps into the sink and let em soak for half hour or so.. You may take a wash rag and rub the sweat stains out. Rinse with cold water, air dry.
